The Chinese herbal medicine has been used in China for thousands of years and modern scientific research increasingly supports their effectiveness and studies their safety.

Acupuncture is often combined with Herbal medicine as it enhances its effectiveness, especially when treating internal conditions such as infertility, chronic fatigue, insomnia & anxiety, digestive and respiratory issues or skin disorders.

Unlike most conventional medicines - which usually have a single ingredient - herbal formulas contain many ingredients using different parts of plants - such as leaves, roots, stems, flowers and seeds - and given as teas, capsules, granules, or powders.

The composition and proportion of ingredients will be modified by the herbalist as the patient’s symptoms vary and the condition improves.

Why should we use Chinese instead of Western Herbs?

Having Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) been around for over 2.500 years means that we know its Materia Medica - a pharmacological reference book that describes thousands of medicinal substances used by TCM herbalists – extremely well.

Throughout this time a vast range of information has been gathered on the various herbs, medicines and their properties
